Students have been asking me about when I will have a new blog written on my website. It's already the end of the third week of school and I'm still hoping to write something worth of publication. I've been thinking about all the new students I've been meeting at Highlands, 203 last time I checked with Mrs. Lucas. Wow! How will I remember everyone? Well, today I started trying to learn some names. Let me tell you, it's not so easy.
I was trying to meet some friends, old and new, at lunch today, so I thought it would be a great idea if I tried to memorize some names. Well, I had to repeat them about 3 or 4 times each. The fourth graders at lunch were so patient with me trying to say their names correctly, I just had to prove that I could do it. You might even say that I took the initiative (YES! I worked in the SCOTTIES BIG IDEA WORD OF THE MONTH here) to learn their names. I saw something to be done and I did it.
So, here's a shout out to the fourth graders whose names I learned today at lunch. I sure hope I can remember their names by tomorrow!
Hi Direolu, Abbas, Michael, Kirtheev, Brooklyn and Nash!
